Portable industrial vacuum systems can be an effective and economical solution for general cleanup or housekeeping where a central system may be overkill or budget does not allow for it.
3B Air Systems is proud to offer American Vacuum Company portable industrial vacuum systems which range from compressed air operated units, to 3-phase continuous-duty systems up to 50hp.
Portable vacuum systems can be easily moved by operators to areas of need or in some cases can be connected to fixed tubing systems and used in a manner similar to a central vacuum system.
The American Vacuum Company line of compressed air operated portable vacuum systems are NFPA compliant for combustible dust applications and are low maintenance as the vacuum producer (venturi) does not have any moving parts.
In some cases electric portable vacuum systems can be used on combustible dust applications and comply with NFPA standards, but there are parameters within the NFPA standards that must be met in order to do so.
Portable industrial vacuums can be used for most of the same applications as central vacuum systems despite being smaller and more convenient. They can still be used to remove potentially harmful particles or fumes, leaving your space clean and safe for everyone involved. Applications include:
